Outlook: In coming away with road wins at Milwaukee and Detroit last weekend, the Blast clinched a berth in the Major Arena Soccer League playoffs. Next up for the home team is wrapping up the Eastern Division. With the second-place Syracuse Silver Knights at 7-6, the Blast can do just that with two more wins in the 20-game regular season.

If the team's first game against the Lancers was any indication — a 19-8 road win in Rochester on Dec. 27 — the Blast should get one win closer on Saturday. Lucas Roque, who leads the team in scoring with 16 goals and four assists, had three goals and one assist as the Blast jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the rout.

Defensively, the Blast has limited opponents to 35 goals, with standout performances coming from goalie William Vanzela and defender Pat Healey. Vanzela's 2.82 goals against average and Healey's 31 blocked shots are both tops in the league. Both will play a big role in trying to stop Rochester's leading scorer, Mauricio Salles, who has 25 goals this season.
