Outspoken former Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen joins ESPN's Baseball Tonight

Staff report

ESPN announced on its website that former Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen would be joining the Baseball Tonight crew this season.

Guillen was fired by the Marlins on Oct. 23, 2012, after a combustible year where the team went 69-93 in its first season in the new Miami ballpark and Guillen was suspended by the organization for comments about Fidel Castro in Time magazine.

Guillen was quoted as saying: "I love Fidel Castro ... I respect Fidel Castro. You know why? A lot of people have wanted to kill Fidel Castro for the last 60 years, but that mofo is still here."

The release also said that Guillen will broadcast Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN Deportes.
