Eugene Monroe and Chris Canty won't play against Bengals

Three players ruled out while Lorenzo Taliaferro is questionable and Will Hill probable.

In the final injury report ahead of Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Ravens ruled out starting left tackle Eugene Monroe (concussion), starting defensive end Chris Canty (calf) and rookie wide receiver Breshad Perriman (knee).

James Hurst is expected to start in place of Monroe, who hasn’t practiced since sustaining the concussion in the season opener against the Denver Broncos and will miss his second straight game. Lawrence Guy will likely take Canty’s spot. Canty didn’t practice all week after getting hurt against the Raiders.

Running back Lorenzo Taliaferro returned to practice on a limited basis after missing the previous two days with a foot injury, and he and rookie cornerback Tray Walker are listed as questionable.

Inside linebacker C.J. Mosley (not-injury related) and safety Will Hill (knee) are probable to play. Hill missed Friday’s practice and was a late addition to the injury report.

As for Perriman, the rookie first-round pick practiced for a second straight day and Ravens coach John Harbaugh indicated that he’s making progress.

“I’m encouraged,” Harbaugh said when asked about Perriman being back at practice following an eight-week absence. “I’m encouraged by that. That’s very important. It looks like he’s getting close. But what that means exactly? I don’t know. Nobody tells me. I have no report on it. I have no information on it because our medical people just don’t know. So, when they tell me he can play, he’ll be out there and play. It’s a tough injury to judge.”
