The Ravens officially signed exclusive rights free agent Terrence Magee, providing even more depth at a crowded running back position.
Magee, an undrafted free agent last year out of LSU, played in four games as a rookie and had two carries for five yards and one catch for two yards.
The Ravens currently have four running backs on their roster: presumed starter Justin Forsett, Buck Allen, Lorenzo Taliaferro and Magee. However, that number will grow over the next couple of weeks when Terrance West (Northwestern High, Towson) signs his exclusive free agent deal and the "unofficial" agreement with Trent Richardson becomes official.
With Magee's signing, the Ravens are left with 11 exclusive rights free agents. That group includes West, wide receivers Jeremy Butler, Kaelin Clay and Chris Matthews, tight end Konrad Reuland, offensive linemen Ryan Jensen and De'Ondre Wesley and defensive backs Jumal Rolle, Sheldon Price and Jermaine Whitehead.
Exclusive rights free agents are players with three years or less of service time. If they are offered a contract, they can either accept it or decide not to play. The Ravens have traditionally tendered contract offers to all of their exclusive rights free agents.
