Ray Lewis begins book tour, will sign copies of memoir in Baltimore, Bel Air

Ray Lewis plans to sign copies of his memoir in Bel Air in October.

Ray Lewis will sign copies of his memoir at Barnes & Noble book stores in Baltimore and Bel Air this week, part of a tour that will take him to La Jolla, Calif., Miami, Phoenix, Boston and other cities.

The former Ravens inside linebacker will sign "I Feel Like Going On: Life, Game and Glory," on Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. at the book store in the Inner Harbor and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Bel Air. The book was released Tuesday.

He'll return to the area to sign books at Politics & Prose in Washington on Dec. 8.

The book is co-written by Daniel Paisner and published by Simon & Schuster Publishing. It covers "the state of football as well as his troubled childhood, his rise to athletic greatness, and the accusations that threatened to ruin his NFL career."

Lewis, a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and all-but-certain future member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, retired after winning Super Bowl XLVII with the Ravens in 2013. He's been an NFL analyst for ESPN since.
