Ravens sign tight end Konrad Reuland to practice squad

Tight end Konrad Reuland was signed to the Ravens' practice squad on Wednesday.

The Ravens signed former New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers tight end Konrad Reuland to the practice squad on Wednesday.

The Ravens also worked out former Kansas City Chiefs fullback-linebacker Jordan Campbell, former New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers tight end Tom Crabtree, former Ravens and Houston Texans tight end Nathan Overbay, former Arizona Rattlers quarterback Bryn Renner and former Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals fullback Nikita Whitlock, according to a league source.

Reuland replaces Phillip Supernaw, who was signed off the Ravens' practice squad to the Kansas City Chiefs' active roster.

Reuland, who played at Stanford, was last with the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad, but was released. Signed by the 49ers after going undrafted, he spent the 2011 season on their practice squad.

He played every game for the Jets in 2012, started three games and caught 11 passes for 83 yards. Last season, he was on injured reserve for the Jets with a knee injury.

He was cut this season by the Jets after training camp.
