2. Cornerbacks on the spot

The Ravens' top three cornerbacks - Jimmy Smith, Lardarius Webb and Asa Jackson - are sidelined with injuries. The team will start Chykie Brown, who played slightly better last week after a shaky beginning to the preseason, and Dominique Franks, who was beaten for a touchdown by Dez Bryant against the Dallas Cowboys. They'll match up against accomplished Redskins wide receivers DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon and Santana Moss. Brown and Franks could be overmatched in terms of speed, but they could make up ground against Jackson -- who was playing well before he was injured -- if they can hold up against the Redskins' receiving corps. The Ravens feel good about rookie Tramain Jacobs' cover skills and poise and like Deji Olatoye and Sammy Seamster as developmental prospects.
