Bernard Pierce probable, Lardarius Webb questionable for Sunday's game against Bengals

Ravens running back Bernard Pierce is listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, while cornerback Lardarius Webb is listed as questionable with a back injury that kept him out of the entire preseason.

Pierce, who will start in place of suspended running back Ray Rice, suffered a concussion during the team’s third preseason game against the Washington Redskins on a hit from Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather. He has been listed as a full participant all week.

Webb, too, was listed as a full participant leading up to Friday’s injury report, but his status for the game is more in doubt.

Coach John Harbaugh said after practice that the week of practice was “valuable for all players,” including Webb and tight end Owen Daniels, who was out for two weeks with a hamstring issue.

“They all have done a great job, and I don’t care where you’re at as a player, you need to prepare,” Harbaugh said. “And those two guys you mentioned prepared like everybody else. Everybody is at their own spot in terms of what they need to do to get ready to play.”

Cincinnati has already ruled two players out — running back Rex Burkhead (knee) and wide receiver Marvin Jones (foot). Bengals linebacker Sean Porter (hamstring) and wide receiver James Wright (concussion) are doubtful, while rookie cornerback Darqueze Dennard (hip) is questionable.

Linebacker Vontaze Burfict (hamstring), tight end Tyler Eifert (shoulder), running back Cedric Peerman (hip), guard-center Mike Pollak (knee), and tackle Andre Smith (concussion) are all listed as probable.
