Ravens met with offensive tackles Cyrus Kouandjio, Morgan Moses

The Ravens have met with Alabama offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio and Virginia offensive tackle Morgan Moses at the NFL scouting combine.

Kouandjio is a 6-foot-5, 322-pound native of Cameroon who grew up playing soccer before becoming a Parade Magazine All-American at DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville.

He had 14 knockdown blocks last season and allowed just 1.5 sacks and was named a Walter Camp All-American selection.

"I like the Ravens," Kouandjio said of his meeting with the Ravens. "I had a good experience in that room."

Kouandjio offers versatility as a player who can line up at left tackle or right tackle.

Kouandjio said he learned a lot after struggling against edge rushers in a Sugar Bowl loss to Oklahoma.

"I learned to use my hands more efficiently," he siad. "I hated to end my college career on that game, but it is what it is."

Kouandjio credited playing soccer in middle school for helping his mobility now as a football player.

"I think it helped me with my footwork a lot," he said. "I think it made my footwork is what it is right now."

Moses is a 6-foot-6, 314-pounder with good athleticism who's graded anywhere from a late first-round prospect to the second round.

He's a second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection.

"I had a good meeting with the Ravens," Moses said. "I enjoyed talking to those guys."
