The Ravens let a close one slip away the last time these two teams met. But considering what is on the line, the Ravens will do just enough to squeeze out a win.

This is another must-win situation for the Ravens and they know how to win big games. A point of emphasis this week by Coach John Harbaugh has been telling his team that hot teams at the end of the season do well in the playoffs and all he has to do is point to last season. This rivalry almost always comes down to a field goal, which is not a bad thing when you have a kicker as good as Justin Tucker. The only other certainty: Both Joe Flacco and Ben Roethlisberger are going to need 10 days to recover from the pounding they're going to get from these defenses.

Ravens edge Steelers in overtime on a Justin Tucker field goal as quarterbacks Joe Flacco and Ben Roethlisberger and the running games are both largely contained by two aggressive defenses. The Ravens, 2-4 in games decided by three points or less this season heading into Thursday, finally win a close one.

Ravens defense played its first dominant game of the year last week against the Jets. Sure it wasn't against an elite offense, but then again, the Steelers are not in that category. Pittsburgh has done a good job salvaging its season, but this week the Steelers remind us why they had been so bad early, as Ravens avenge close loss at in Week 7
