The Ravens confirmed Wednesday afternoon that the team practiced without three defensive starters in defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, nose tackle Ma’ake Kemoeatu and cornerback Jimmy Smith.

Offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie participated on a limited basis due to a thigh injury.

The Houston Texans, Sunday’s opponent, practiced without cornerback Johnathan Joseph, who is battling a sore groin.

Seven starters were limited in practice. They were right guard Antoine Caldwell (concussion), nose tackle Shaun Cody (back), tight end Owen Daniels (non-injury related), running back Arian Foster (non-injury related), inside linebacker Bradie James (calf), wide receiver Andre Johnson (non-injury related), and defensive end Antonio Smith (non-injury related).

A pair of starters in center Chris Myers (hip) and left guard Wade Smith (knee) participated fully.
