Loss to Steelers in last year's playoffs still stings

Sunday’s AFC divisional playoff game against the Houston Texans will mark the one-year anniversary of the Ravens’ deflating 31-24 setback to the Pittsburgh Steelers – a loss that included the Ravens' squandering a 21-7 advantage at halftime.

As distant as that outcome seems now as the Ravens prepare for their first postseason contest at M&T Bank Stadium since 2006, coach John Harbaugh conceded that the loss still resonates.

“It’s true. Everything fuels what you’re going through,” he said Monday. “Every shared experience fuels who you become, what you become – the disappointments as much as the triumphs. That was a big disappointment last year. Now we go into a divisional game – this one at home – with just as much at stake. There’s certainly motivation there.”
