After news of Lamar Jackson's trade request took over the NFL meetings on Monday, Patriots owner Robert Kraft said rapper Meek Mill texted him a few days earlier that the star quarterback wanted to play in New England. The Colts' general manager wasn't coy, either.

Coach John Harbaugh shed light on the Ravens' draft plan, confirming that the team will draft a receiver next month. “It’s a deep draft at receiver and there’s a lot of guys that fit the way we play," he said.

"As of March 2nd I requested a trade from the Ravens organization for which the Ravens has not been interested in meeting my value," quarterback Lamar Jackson wrote on Twitter, adding that "I had to make a business decision that was best for my family and I."

At the start of last season, there were 17 players who were representing themselves and had negotiated the contract under which they played this past year, according to the NFL Players Association. Some of them were notable.
