The Ravens are early field-goal favorites over the Titans ahead of their AFC wild-card-round game Sunday in Tennessee, according to Las Vegas sportsbooks.
The fifth-seeded Ravens (11-5) opened as 3½-point favorites Sunday night after their fifth straight win, a 38-3 rout of the Cincinnati Bengals, clinched a third straight postseason appearance. The Titans (11-5) have won three of their past four, including a 41-38 victory Sunday over the Houston Texans that secured the AFC South title and No. 4 seed.
Tennessee has gotten used to the underdog role. The Ravens were 10-point favorites entering their divisional-round game last year, only for the Titans to stun them in Baltimore, 28-12. And the Ravens were six-point home favorites in their Week 11 matchup, a 30-24 overtime loss in which they surrendered an 11-point third-quarter lead.
Entering the playoffs, the Ravens have the AFC’s third-best odds to win the Super Bowl, behind the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs and second-seeded Buffalo Bills. Tennessee is fifth in the conference, also behind the third-seeded Steelers.
The Titans lead the all-time series with the Ravens 13-12 and have won three of the past four meetings. But in their most recent trip to Nashville, the Ravens shut out Tennessee, 21-0, in 2018.
The over-under for Sunday’s game is 54½ points.
