With the coronavirus pandemic upending the NFL’s offseason, the Ravens don’t know what their preseason will look like this year. But at least they know what their preseason schedule does.
A team spokesman confirmed Monday that the Ravens will play the Cowboys in Dallas at 8 p.m. on Aug. 22, the last date to be confirmed in their four-game slate.
If the Ravens are cleared to play in Maryland, they’ll look to defend their preseason 17-game winning streak against the visiting Buffalo Bills at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 14. After traveling to Dallas, they’re scheduled to host the Carolina Panthers at 8 p.m. Aug. 30. For the third straight year, the Ravens will face the Washington Redskins in their preseason finale. The Sept. 3 game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. at FedEx Field in Landover.
All games will be telecast on WBAL-TV (Ch. 11) and broadcast on WBAL (1090 AM, 101.5 FM) and 98 Rock (97.9 FM).
The NFL last week announced the Ravens’ 2020 regular-season schedule, which includes five prime-time games.

Doors stay locked
Even with NFL teams that meet state and local regulations allowed to begin reopening their training facilities Tuesday, the Ravens will keep their doors closed, a team spokesman confirmed Monday.
The Ravens’ Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills is subject to state and local regulations amid the coronavirus pandemic. Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski Jr. announced Thursday that despite the end of Gov. Larry Hogan’s stay-at-home order, the county was targeting only a limited reopening. Olszewski said there’s still “not nearly the amount” of testing available to ensure a safe return and that moving too quickly would “reverse all the progress we’ve made over the last few months.”
In a memo sent Friday to all 32 NFL franchises, commissioner Roger Goodell wrote that teams could begin to start using their facilities Tuesday. Teams that either hadn’t met league protocols or weren’t permitted to reopen can use their facilities as soon as they’re ready.
The reopening is limited, restricted to nonplayer staff and players who were rehabilitating injuries before their facility closed. To ensure equity across the league, coaches and other players are barred until all teams are cleared to return.
Ravens coaches and officials have worked remotely since March 13, while players are participating in virtual offseason programs. President Dick Cass acknowledged last week that he didn’t expect players to return to the team facility until training camp in late July.
