Mo Gaba, the 13-year-old Ravens superfan who is battling cancer for the fourth time, will announce the Ravens’ fourth-round pick Saturday from the Ravens’ Draft Fest at the Inner Harbor, becoming the first person to announce an NFL draft pick in Braille.
Mo, a frequent caller on sports talk radio and fan of the Orioles, was calling in to 98 Rock on Wednesday from Lindale Middle School to analyze the NFL draft with host Keith Mills when Harbaugh appeared on the other line and invited him to announce the pick, No. 123 overall.
Mo has been blind since he was 9 months old. There’s a GoFundMe page to help his family with expenses.
