Ravens CB Marcus Peters returns to practice Wednesday; CB Marlon Humphrey, eight others sidelined

Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters returned to practice Wednesday for the first time in two weeks ahead of the team’s regular-season finale Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Peters, who has missed the past two games with a calf injury, was limited.

Nine Ravens did not practice: offensive linemen Orlando Brown Jr. (not injury-related) and Patrick Mekari (back), defensive linemen Calais Campbell (calf/not injury-related) and Yannick Ngakoue (thigh), cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey (knee/shoulder) and Jimmy Smith (ribs/shoulder), running back Mark Ingram II (illness), wide receiver Willie Snead IV (ankle) and punter Sam Koch (not injury-related).

Koch, who was listed as a nonparticipant, has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. ESPN reported that he returned an inconclusive COVID-19 test. Koch, who hasn’t missed a game in 15 seasons, is also the holder on field-goal attempts and extra points.

Six Bengals did not practice Wednesday: defensive tackle Mike Daniels (not injury-related), center B.J. Finney (abdomen), wide receiver A.J. Green (not injury-related), cornerbacks William Jackson III (concussion) and Darius Phillips (not injury-related) and linebacker Logan Wilson (ankle).

Wide receivers Tyler Boyd (concussion) and Tee Higgins (hamstring) and linebacker Jordan Evans (hamstring) were limited.
