When the Ravens needed something to jump-start the fans at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday night, quarterback Lamar Jackson delivered.
During the Ravens’ first drive of the third quarter, Jackson stepped up in the pocket before leaping into the air and throwing a 42-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown.
Brown was able to speed past Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Charvarius Ward to get wide-open for the catch in the middle of the field. It helped the Ravens cut the deficit to 28-24 with just under 10 minutes to play in the third quarter and gave Brown 113 receiving yards, his second most in a regular-season game since entering the league in 2019.
Earlier in the game, Jackson became the fastest quarterback in NFL history to reach 3,000 rushing yards.
