Ravens CB Jimmy Smith returns to practice; newly signed RBs Le’Veon Bell, Trenton Cannon make first appearance

Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith returned to practice Wednesday, about a month after he sprained his ankle in training camp.

Smith participated in positional drills during the open portion of the workout. Coach John Harbaugh had said he was “hopeful” that Smith would practice this week, the team’s last before its 2021 season opens Monday night against the Las Vegas Raiders.
