The Ravens’ injury report isn’t getting much shorter.
Days after the Ravens entered their Week 15 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with 11 players considered questionable or ruled out, the team is still banged up. With preparations for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants underway, nine Ravens missed practice Wednesday with injuries.
Defensive end Calais Campbell (calf), inside linebacker Kristian Welch (foot), cornerbacks Marcus Peters (calf) and Jimmy Smith (ribs/shoulder) and defensive back-linebacker Anthony Levine Sr. (abdomen) were among the Ravens who returned to the injury report.
But there were new additions, too: wide receiver Dez Bryant (thigh), offensive linemen Tyre Phillips (concussion) and Matt Skura (back) and outside linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee). Phillips was evaluated for a concussion after his highlight-reel fumble recovery in Sunday’s win. Fullback Patrick Ricard, meanwhile, was limited with a knee injury.
No Giants missed practice Wednesday. Starting quarterback Daniel Jones was limited with hamstring and ankle injuries. Tight end Evan Engram (calf), wide receiver Golden Tate (calf), offensive lineman Matt Peart (ankle) and cornerback Darnay Holmes (knee) were also limited.
