Childs Walker: The Ravens had to wait more than three hours to make their first selection of day two, but as it turned out, they had plenty of options at their positions of need. Eric DeCosta has praised the depth of this draft class all along, and he was proven out when the Ravens picked a highly productive pass rusher in Jaylon Ferguson with the 85th overall pick. The 6-foot-5 Ferguson should immediately help the Ravens mitigate the losses of Terrell Suggs and Za’Darius Smith.Mike Preston: The Ravens wanted and needed to add a pass rusher so they took Louisiana Tech's Jaylon Ferguson with the No. 85 overall pick in the third round. Ferguson used a lot of power to bull rush opponents in college but that doesn't always transfer to the NFL. He'll have to learn more moves but he has the speed and desire to be successful if he wants to work.Childs Walker: We’ve heard all week about the excellent second- and third-round values that would come around at wide receiver, and the Ravens took advantage by trading up to No. 93 overall to pick Miles Boykin of Notre Dame. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Boykin is the physical opposite of Marquise Brown, but he’s also very fast and an excellent leaper. His critics note that he didn’t always use his physical skills to dominate one-on-one match-ups. His upside makes him an excellent value at this spot, however. The Ravens’ wide receiver group looks a great deal more interesting than it did on Wednesday.Mike Preston: The Miles Boykin pick is intriguing because he is more of the prototype as far as size. The Ravens haven't had a receiver this big and this fast for a couple of years, at least one who can catch. Another thing that works in his favor is that he played at Notre Dame, which runs aN NFL-type offense. If he can play the Ravens might have two good young receivers in Boykin and Marquise Brown.
