Chargers TE Antonio Gates vs. Ravens FS Will Hill: Hill won't get a break this week after doing a solid job on Saints TE Jimmy Graham Monday night, and Gates is bigger and strong than Graham. Gates has 40 receptions for 491 yards and nine touchdowns. He'll fool the defense at times because he still has the ability to go deep. Hill has improved the Ravens' secondary, especially in pass coverage. If Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers gets hot, Gates could have a big day. Edge: Chargers

Chargers WRs Keenan Allen and Malcom Floyd vs Ravens CBs Lardarius Webb and Anthony Levine: Allen has more receptions, but Floyd averages 16.8 yards per catch. Both receivers are big and if given time Rivers will challenge the Ravens down the field. Floyd has 36 receptions for 604 yards and Allen has 61 catches for 641 yards. Webb has struggled in returning from an early season injury and Levine still might be working out the kinks moving from safety to cornerback. Edge: Chargers

Charges FS Eric Weddle vs Ravens QB Joe Flacco: Weddle is one of those sneaky little pests who is always around the football and definitely worth finding before the snap of the ball. He leads the Chargers with 77 tackles. He also has one interception and one forced fumble. Flacco managed the game against New Orleans well and did an excellent job as far as his decision-making when pressured. If the Ravens fall behind and Flacco has to throw often, Weddle will become a big factor. Flacco has thrown for 18 touchdowns and nearly 2,800 yards this season. Edge: Ravens
