Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson on the hard fought 30-28 close win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Ravens defensive end Calais Campbell has been named Week 6 AFC Defensive Player of the Week, the NFL announced Wednesday.
Campbell recorded a game-high three sacks and four quarterback hits in Sunday’s 30-28 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s the second straight week a Ravens defender has received player of the week honors; rookie inside linebacker Patrick Queen was honored in Week 5.
Through six games, Campbell, whom the Ravens acquired from the Jacksonville Jaguars in an offseason trade, has a team-high four sacks and ranks second with 10 quarterback hits. He’s the third Ravens player to receive weekly honors this season; quarterback Lamar Jackson was named Week 1 AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week and Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
