After returning from a two-day illness, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is expected to start Sunday against the Bears. It’s the rest of a banged-up roster that’s now a question mark.
The Ravens ruled out three players for their Week 11 matchup in Chicago on their injury report Friday, which had a season-high 13 game statuses listed. Wide receiver Miles Boykin (finger), defensive tackle Brandon Williams (shoulder) and outside linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee) will not be available.
Boykin practiced fully Wednesday and Thursday before suffering his injury. McPhee missed the team’s Thursday and Friday workouts, while Williams was unavailable all week.
Ten players were listed as questionable. On offense, the Ravens could be without wide receivers Marquise “Hollywood” Brown (thigh) and Devin Duvernay (knee), running back Latavius Murray (ankle), tight end Nick Boyle (knee) and offensive tackles Patrick Mekari (ankle) and Cedric Ogbuehi (thigh).
Boyle was a full participant throughout the week and is on track to make his 2021 debut Sunday. Brown was limited in his return to practice Friday, while Murray and Mekari were limited all week. Duvernay appeared to get hurt early in practice Friday, and Ogbuehi did not practice after participating fully Wednesday and Thursday.
On defense, inside linebacker Kristian Welch (foot) and cornerbacks Anthony Averett (thigh), Tavon Young (foot) and Jimmy Smith (hip/neck) are questionable. Welch and Averett did not practice Friday, their first absence this week. Young and Smith were limited Thursday and Friday.
Center Bradley Bozeman and wide receiver Rashod Bateman, who each missed a practice this week with an illness, were not listed on the injury report.
