For only the second time in series history, the Ravens and Washington Redskins will faceoff in Baltimore. The Ravens own a 3-2 lead in the series and won the only meeting in Baltimore, 24-10 on Dec. 7, 2008. Under coach John Harbaugh, the Ravens have been dominant against opponents from the NFC, compiling a 20-12 record since 2008 – the fifth-best win percentage among AFC teams.
Here are three stats to keep in mind before Sunday's 1 p.m. game at M&T Bank Stadium.
1st: The Ravens defense not only leads the NFL in total yards allowed (256 per game), but also ranks first in fewest first downs allowed per game (13.8) and fewest plays allowed of 20 yards or more (eight).
2.3: Washington has forced the fewest punts per game this season in the NFL, a big reason why the defense has allowed the seventh-most points per game (28), tied with the San Francisco 49ers.
