Virginia wide receiver Darius Jennings (Gilman) attends Ravens' local Pro Day, according to sources

Virginia wide receiver and kick returner Darius Jennings attended the Ravens' local prospect day, according to sources.

The former Gilman standout finished his career with a school-record 1,839 career kick return yards, ranking fifth all-time with 133 career receptions, ninth with 1,667 receiving yards and 11th with 3,719 all-purpose yards.

At his campus Pro Day workout, Jennings ran the 40-yard dash in 4.47 seconds with a 37-inch vertical leap, a 10-3 broad jump, a 4.29 20-yard shuttle and a 6.95 three-cone drill.

Jennings was an All-Atlantic Coast Conference honorable-mention selection as a kick returner last season.

He averaged 27.1 yards per kickoff return, caught 27 passes for 521 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. He also led the Cavaliers with 1,313 all-purpose yards last season.

As a junior, Jennings caught 38 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns.

As a sophomore, Jennings led Virginia with 568 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Jennings was a SuperPrep All-American at Gilman who played wide receiver, running back, quarterback and defensive back.

He was named the Gatorade Maryland Football Player of the Year.

Jennings had 2,248 yards of total offense as a senior and scored 24 touchdowns as he rushed for 1,592 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Jennings finished his career with a school-record 4,338 career yards and 53 touchdowns.

He rushed for 2,028 yards and 25 touchdowns as a junior, setting school single-season records.
