PHILADELPHIA — Ravens defensive starters Terrell Suggs, Daryl Smith and Chris Canty got the day off Thursday, the second of possibly three joint practices with the Philadelphia Eagles at the NovaCare Complex.
The veterans have sporadically received days off during training camp, and coach John Harbaugh gave them today off ahead of Saturday's game against the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.
Guard Kelechi Osemele returned after missing three days with an Achilles issue, though starting right tackle Rick Wagner was out with a leg injury suffered Wednesday while practicing with the Eagles. With reserve tackle Jah Reid, the top backup at right tackle, also out with an unspecified injury, James Hurst ran at right tackle with the starters early in practice.
Cornerback Lardarius Webb, who hasn't practiced since last Tuesday's walk-through and missed last week's game against the New Orleans Saints, was also absent again with a hamstring issue.
Wide receiver Breshad Perriman's absence stretched to three weeks as he sat again with a knee sprain suffered July 30. Other absentees included rookie tackle Darryl Baldwin and outside linebacker Steven Means (groin).
