Safety Chris Hope (shoulder) missed practice Thursday and his availability for Sunday's game is in serious doubt. His shoulder popped out last week against the Jaguars, Coach Mike Munchak said.
"He took a good shot on it, it popped in and out, and when that happens it's just a matter of getting it strong again so it won't happen again," Munchak said. "It's a confidence thing, too."
Hope has 49 straight starts. Jordan Babineaux would start in Hope's place.
Other injuries: Wide receiver Damian Williams (hamstring) and defensive end William Hayes (shoulder) did not practice.
Williams missed practice for the second straight day. Hayes was limited on Wednesday.
It appears defensive ends Derrick Morgan (knee) and Jason Jones (knee) will play on Sunday, which would help offset the potential loss of Hayes.
Working dad: Wide receiver Nate Washington witnessed the birth of his daughter and hustled to Baptist Sports Park for the end of practice.
Niyla Monae Washington was born at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
With bloodshot eyes, the proud papa said he hadn't slept since Wednesday morning.
"I am turning all the excitement and joy of today into extra motivation," Washington said.
Punches thrown: After some pushing and shoving, rookie linebacker Akeem Ayers and practice squad tight end Cameron Graham threw punches at each other on the practice field.
"The pushing and the shoving is fine, so no one hurts each other. Or when we pull it apart they stop, which they did. To me the problem is if we go too far with it," Munchak said. "We're OK."
Former Titan arrested: Former Titans linebacker Rennie Curran was arrested Monday in Atlanta on a simple battery charge. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Curran got into an argument with companion Natalie Quezada, 23. She was arrested on the same charge.
