Three starters returned to practice Thursday as the Ravens continued preparations for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Center Jeremy Zuttah (ankle), middle linebacker Daryl Smith (knee) and safety Matt Elam (shoulder), who all missed Wednesday's practice, returned to action Thursday and are expected to play Sunday.
However, the Ravens remained without several other key performers. Wide receiver Marlon Brown (pelvis), left tackle Eugene Monroe (knee), left guard Kelechi Osemele (knee), defensive end Chris Canty (wrist) and defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (knee) all remain sidelined.
Monroe, Canty and Jernigan won't play Sunday. Osemele hurt his knee in last Sunday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts, but he finished the game and the team was optimistic that he'd be fine going forward.
Veteran tight end Owen Daniels wasn't practicing, but the team has been giving him Thursday's off to make sure he stays fresh throughout the season.
