The Ravens' first formal practice of the week leading up to Monday night's game against the New England Patriots was newsworthy in that there were no startling absences.
Left guard Marshal Yanda (left shoulder) was not present during the portion of practice open to the media, but he usually gets the first practice of the week off.
Rookie guard Alex Lewis (high right ankle sprain), tight end Crockett Gillmore (pulled hamstring), and running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (hamstring) did not participate, but they have sat out at least the last three games.
Running back Javorius "Buck" Allen, who was deactivated prior to Sunday's 38-6 rout of the Miami Dolphins because of a non-football injury, was at practice. And cornerback Jimmy Smith and wide receiver Kamar Aiken, who were dealing with back and thigh injuries last week, also took part in Thursday's session.
UPDATE: Yanda, Lewis, Gillmore and Taliaferro did not practice, according to the Ravens' injury report. No other players are listed.
New England practiced without wide receiver Danny Amendola, who is not expected to play because of a high right ankle sprain suffered in Sunday's 26-10 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
A pair of Patriots starters in tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle/shoulder) and rookie outside linebacker Elandon Roberts (hamstring) were limited in Thursday's session.
