The Ravens have restructured outside linebacker Terrell Suggs' four-year, $28.5 million contract, according to a league source.
The Ravens converted Suggs' $4 million base salary for 2015 into a $3 million bonus and lowered his base salary to $1 million for this year. That creates $2.25 million in salary-cap space.
His salary-cap figure for this year will go down from $6.2 million to $3.95 million.
It will raise Suggs' salary-cap figure to $7.45 million in 2016 and $6.95 million in 2017 and 2018.
Suggs' deal includes $16 million in guaranteed money with $11 million coming in a signing bonus last year.
