Three defensive starters weren't present at the Ravens' organized team activity Thursday at team headquarters.
Pro Bowl outside linebacker Terrell Suggs, Pro Bowl nose tackle Haloti Ngata and defensive end Chris Canty aren't among those participating in the voluntary practice.
Otherwise, the Ravens had high attendance. That included quarterback Joe Flacco, running back Ray Rice, fullback Kyle Juszczyk, wide receivers Torrey Smith, Steve Smith, Jacoby Jones and Marlon Brown, tight ends Dennis Pitta and Owen Daniels, linebackers Daryl Smith, Courtney Upshaw and Elvis Dumervil, cornerbacks Lardarius Webb and Jimmy Smith, safeties Matt Elam and Terrence Brooks and several other players.
Offensive tackle Kelechi Osemele was practicing after undergoing back surgery to repair a herniated disk in November that ended his second NFL season.
Meanwhile, backup running back Bernard Pierce was practicing on a limited basis after undergoing rotator cuff surgery on his right shoulder in January.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh had recently predicted that Pierce would be held out of drills until training camp. The Ravens are exercising caution with Pierce and having him just do individual drills.
Rookie defensive end Brent Urban was practicing after undergoing ankle surgery in February. The fourth-round draft pick from Virginia was sidelined at the Ravens' rookie minicamp.
Rookie wide receiver Michael Campanaro, a River Hill graduate from Clarksville, was on the field but wasn't practicing after tweaking his hamstring prior to a rookie minicamp.
Nose guard Terrence Cody (hip) and offensive lineman Jah Reid (calf) weren't on the field due to injuries.
The Ravens began the OTA on Wednesday, but Thursday's session was the first open to the media.
