Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs is a huge movie buff and owns a production company that has produced several films and shorts.
Suggs decided to channel the "Maximus" character from the movie, "Gladiator," wearing the helmet to fire up the team and crowd prior to a 26-6 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He bought the expensive helmet during a vacation in Italy.
Now, Suggs is paying for more than the cost of the helmet. Suggs was fined $5,512 by the league office for violating the NFL uniform code, according to an NFL spokesman.
