Webb has given the Ravens' punt return game a bit of a boost the past two weeks, but if he can't play, the Ravens will likely have to turn to either kick returner Tom Zbikowski or Chris Carr. Overall, the Ravens are averaging 25.4 yards on kickoff returns and 10.1 on punt returns, with Webb scoring a touchdown two weeks ago against Cleveland. Kicker Billy Cundiff's lingering calf issues also could force punter Sam Koch to kick off, which he did in the second half last Sunday. Cundiff should be fine to kick field goals, an area in which he is 27-for-35 on the season with five of those misses coming from beyond 50 yards. Koch is also having another solid season with an average of 46.3 yards per punt, which would be a career high. His counterpart Sunday, Mike Scifres, is one of the league's best, averaging 48.1 yards per punt, which ranks fifth in the NFL. Former Maryland kicker Nick Novak was signed when Nate Kaeding went down with a season-ending injury in December, and he's converted 23-of-28 field-goal attempts, including 3-of-6 from beyond 50 yards. San Diego hasn't gotten too many big plays from its two primary returners, Richard Goodman and Patrick Crayton. EDGE: EVEN
