The Ravens worked out veteran free agent Steve Maneri as an offensive tackle Saturday, according to a league source. Maneri wasn't immediately signed to a contract, though.
Maneri, 26, is a 6-foot-7, 275-pounder who has played tight end the past two seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Chicago Bears.
Maneri, who played collegiately at Temple, has played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chiefs, Bears, New England Patriots and Houston Texans. He played for Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak and Ravens quarterbacks coach Rick Dennison, a former offensive line coach, with the Texans.
Maneri has played in 23 career games with 10 starts, including a career-high eight starts two seasons ago for the Chiefs, when he caught five passes for 51 yards. He played in four games with one start last season for the Bears.
