The Brigance Brigade Foundation, created by Ravens senior advisor to player engagement O.J. Brigance and his wife, Chanda, will hold a fundraiser and birthday celebration for O.J. on Friday, Oct. 21 at the Hard Rock Cafe in Baltimore.
The second annual "Soirée with O.J. – A Rockin' Good Time!" will celebrate Brigance's 47th birthday, and raise funds to further the mission of his foundation, which equips, encourages and empowers people living with ALS.
Several current and former Ravens, including Terrell Suggs, C.J. Mosley, Zachary Orr, Morgan Cox and Trevor Pryce are expected to attend. The red carpet event will feature a live auction and a performance by recording artist Esnavi.
"It is an amazing feeling to be able to hold this event nine years after my diagnosis, and celebrate turning 47. I truly am blessed," Brigance, a former Ravens special team ace, said in a news release. "But this event is about way more than a birthday, this event is about raising much needed funds and awareness for all of those people who can't leave their house because they don't have a ramp or wheelchair, who can't say 'I love you' to their family because they don't have a speech device, who can't continue to live with their husbands or wives because they need round-the-clock care. This for them."
The event will take place from 7-11 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.BriganceBrigade.org.
