The battered Ravens returned to practice Wednesday without six starters, leaving an already decimated roster even more shorthanded as they prepare for the Seattle Seahawks Sunday.

Coach John Harbaugh said quarterback Matt Schaub might not practice much this week after he took 10 hits last week against the Miami Dolphins, and Schaub wasn't practicing Wednesday.

Also missing were starting tackles Rick Wagner and Eugene Monroe. The former missed a series of Sunday's game with an undisclosed injury, and the latter has misssed two straight games since leaving the Week 11 win over the St. Louis Rams with a shoulder injury.

Harbaugh said Monroe had an MRI scheduled for Wednesday to determine the damage, and it was up to Monroe whether he would play through pain.

Tight end Crockett Gillmore, who left the game in the second quarter Sunday with a back injury, was not practicing. Rookie tight end Maxx Williams practiced but was in a red noncontact jersey as he continues to recovered from a concussion.

On defense, starting nose tackle Brandon Williams, who missed time in the first quarter against Miami with an undisclosed injury, and outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil were not practicing Wednesday.

The only other absentee was wide receiver Marlon Brown, who has been out two weeks with a back injury.
