'Renegade' song was strangely absent from Ravens-Steelers playoff game

PITTSBURGH — When the Pittsburgh Steelers have sought to fire up the Heinz Field crowd at key moments, they've turned toward the Styx song, "Renegade," going back to 2001.

The signature song and accompanying highlight video on the video board were absent from the scene during the Ravens' 30-17 AFC wild-card playoff win over the Steelers on Saturday night.

That came as a surprise to Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs.

"I've been here for 12 years now and we've been winning a game and they play their little music," Suggs said. "We didn't hear it this year, so I was like, 'Oh, maybe they've got something new.'

"They play their song and then something terrible happens, and it was something usually we couldn't overcome. But we didn't get to hear it, and we stayed the course."
