ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Ravens running back Ray Rice is active for today's game against the Buffalo Bills, which isn't surprising since he practiced all week without any setbacks.
Rice is making his return from a strained left hip flexor after missing last week's game against the Houston Texans. Rice and coach John Harbaugh had described his status for today's game as a game-time decision.
"Barring setbacks, there's a chance I could be out there on Sunday," Rice said Friday. "I just obviously have to warm up and see how it feels and let coaches make the decision for me.
Defensive end Chris Canty (groin) is also active today after missing the Texans game.
Wide receiver Brandon Stokley is inactive due to a groin injury after being added to the injury report Friday. Wide receiver Deonte Thompson is active for the first time this season since spraining his left foot in the first preseason game.
