Eddie George, former Titans running back

Former Tennessee Titans running back Eddie George had legendary clashes with Lewis. Their matchups pitted one of the most imposing, physical runners in the game against a ferocious tackler from the same 1996 NFL draft class. Lewis famously delivered some punishing hits to George, but no memory stings more than that of their 2000 AFC divisional-round game. After George bobbled a pass from quarterback Steve McNair, Lewis snatched the football out of the air and returned the interception 50 yards for a touchdown in a 24-10 victory. The win helped propel the Ravens to Super Bowl XXXV. "Very painful," George said of his games against Lewis. "One thing I do remember about Ray is his leadership was second to none. He could inspire his team to play above and beyond their capabilities. You saw the Baltimore Ravens on your schedule, and you knew you had to get ready for that week. "It was not a good week for me. I had to kick everybody out of the house. I had to get focused, I had to get right emotionally, physically and spiritually prepared to take on Ray Lewis." -- Aaron Wilson
