The Ravens scratched starting cornerback Lardarius Webb and Pro Bowl offensive guard Marshal Yanda for the second consecutive preseason game Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons at M&T Bank Stadium.
Webb is recuperating from a torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered last October against the Dallas Cowboys. Yanda underwent rotator cuff surgery five days after Super Bowl XLVII.
Both have been practicing on a limited basis and were held out for precautionary reasons, having made good progress in their respective rehabilitations.
The Ravens also aren't playing linebacker Jameel McClain (spinal cord contusion), defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore (anterior cruciate ligament), center Ryan Jensen (foot surgery), wide receiver Deonte Thompson (sprained left foot), tight ends Dennis Pitta (fractured, dislocated hip) Ed Dickson (torn right hamstring) cornerback Chris Johnson (undisclosed) and defensive end Marcus Spears (hamstring).
Tight end Dallas Clark and wide receiver Brandon Stokley were listed as active after being signed to one-year, $1.005 million contracts this week, but later announced Clark isn't playing tonight.
Stokley has practiced twice in addition to a Wednesday walkthrough, and Clark has practiced once as well as the walkthrough session.
Among those sidelined tonight for the Falcons: fullback Bradie Ewing, running back Jason Snelling, linebacker Sean Weatherspoon and tight end Tony Gonzalez.
