Veteran tight end Owen Daniels missed his second straight day of practice Thursday for the Ravens, despite offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak saying Wednesday that he was "fine" and just getting a break.

Coach John Harbaugh said after Thursday's practice that the team "decided to rest his legs a little bit."

"He'd been going pretty hard so [we wanted to] get him down a little bit," Harbaugh said.

The Ravens were off Tuesday, but Daniels has not practiced since Monday's practice with the San Francisco 49ers.

Harbaugh reiterated Kubiak's claim from the day before that there was no injury, but he said Daniels' status for Saturday's game against Dallas was still questionable.

"We'll just decide and see how it feels," Harbaugh said.

There were no new absences at Thursday's session, which marked the last official day of training camp and was the final practice before Saturday's preseason game in Dallas.

Longterm absentees who remained out include cornerback Lardarius Webb (back), cornerback Asa Jackson (ankle), guard Will Rackley (head), and nose tackle Terrence Cody (hip).

Rookie defensive end Brent Urban (torn ACL) and second-year defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore (ruptured Achilles tendon) are both out for the season, but they have not been placed on injured reserve.
