No injuries after Ravens' bus sideswiped in New Orleans, spokesman says

NEW ORLEANS — One of the Ravens' team buses was hit by a car Sunday night after the team arrived in New Orleans in advance of Monday night's game against the Saints.

Ravens spokesman Chad Steele said no injuries were suffered in the accident. The driver of the car wasn't injured after a collision that was characterized as minor.

The Ravens (6-4) play the Saints (4-6) at 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, the site of the Ravens' Super Bowl XLVII victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

Former Ravens wide receiver Qadry Ismail, a member of the Ravens' broadcasting team, wrote about the incident on social media.

"We got an accident!" Ismail wrote on Twitter. "Bus #4 got side swiped by a car!"

Ravens left tackle Eugene Monroe later posted an Instagram photo of the stadium.

"Superdome lit up in Ravens purple," Monroe wrote. "That's red carpet treatment."
