Ravens take touchdown machine Kenneth Dixon from Louisiana Tech

For the third year in a row, the Ravens used a fourth-round pick to add another running back.

With their fifth and final pick of the round, they grabbed highly-productive running back Kenneth Dixon, who rewrote the Louisiana Tech record book during his time at the school. Dixon (5-foot-10, 215 pounds) was considered among the top three or four running backs in the draft.

In his college career, Dixon rushed for a school-record 4,480 yards and 72 touchdowns. He also caught 88 passes for 972 yards and 15 touchdowns. He finished second in NCAA history in overall touchdowns behind Navy's Keenan Reynolds. He also tied an NCAA record by scoring a touchdown in 38 games.

There are questions about Dixon's ball security and he isn't known for having tremendous explosiveness, but he is a hard runner and he's especially dangerous out of the backfield.

He'll join a crowded backfield that includes projected starter Justin Forsett, Buck Allen, Terrance West (Northwestern High, Towson), Trent Richardson, Lorenzo Taliaferro and Terrence Magee. Allen was taken in the fourth round last year while Taliaferro went in that round in 2014.
