One down, 10 to go.

The Ravens signed their first of 11 draft picks Thursday, agreeing to a $2.595 million deal with fifth-round selection Matt Judon of Grand Valley State. Judon was the team's lone fifth-round pick.

Judon (6 feet 3, 275 pounds) led the nation with 20 sacks last year to go along with 23 1/2 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles. Judon, who will likely be used as an outside linebacker in the pros, is one of three pass rushers the Ravens drafted last week.

The Ravens' rookie minicamp starts Friday. It's probably unlikely the entire rookie class will be signed by then. However, with the slotting system, the rookie deals have become a formality.

Last year, the Ravens had their entire draft class signed within a week and a half after the draft.
