Ravens rule out Canty, Jernigan, Monroe for Sunday; Osemele is questionable

The Ravens officially ruled out defensive end Chris Canty, offensive tackle Eugene Monroe and defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Canty had surgery on his wrist last week and is out two to three weeks, according to a source.

Monroe had arthroscopic surgery before the Carolina Panthers game and is slated to miss at least four games, according to a source.

Jernigan has a meniscus issue in his right knee and is expected to miss at least four games, according to a source.

Meanwhile, offensive guard Kelechi Osemele is listed as questionable. Despite not practicing all week, he's regarded as a game-time decision with a solid chance of playing Sunday.

His bruised and hyperextended right knee injury isn't regarded as major.

Wide receiver Marlon Brown is listed as doubtful. He returned to practice Friday on a limited basis after being sidelined Wednesday and Thursday with a pelvis injury.

"I felt pretty good," Brown said. "Yeah, I'm good."

Three players are listed as probable for the Ravens: strong safety Matt Elam (shoulder contusion), middle linebacker Daryl Smith (knee) and center Jeremy Zuttah (ankle).
