Ravens rookie defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore is returning to practice Wednesday, a sign of progress after he tore his anterior cruciate ligament while playing for Notre Dame in the BCS national title game against Alabama in January.
Lewis-Moore remains on the reserve non-football injury list, and the Ravens have three weeks to decide whether to place him on the active roster.
The fact that the 6-foot-4, 310-pound player is even practicing shows how far he's come since suffering the injury.
"I feel like I'm pretty ready," Lewis-Moore said. "There's a lot of rust I got to knock off because I haven't been able to do anything for nine 10 months. I just got to knock some rust off and work on my craft.
"My progress is going good. My rehab is going great. My leg feels great. My big thing is knocking some rust off and I'm excited. The leg is stronger, yeah."
