Ravens rookie wide receiver Chris Moore, who has been sidelined since the first week of training camp because of a lower left leg injury, returned to practice Tuesday.

Moore, a fourth-round draft pick this year, had a strong start to training camp before going down with an injury. Ravens coach John Harbaugh didn't disclose the nature of Moore's injury. However, the former Cincinnati standout was wearing a boot on his left leg after one of the stadium camp practices.

The Ravens have 16 players not currently participating in practice. That list includes running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (on physically unable to perform list with a foot injury), wide receivers Chris Matthews (soft tissue injury), Breshad Perriman (knee) and Steve Smith Sr. (Achilles), tight ends Maxx Williams (undisclosed), Dennis Pitta (finger) and Daniel Brown (shoulder), offensive linemen Rick Wagner (undisclosed) and John Urschel (undisclosed), linebacker Elvis Dumervil (foot), defensive end Bronson Kaufusi (broken ankle), and defensive backs Kyle Arrington (concussion), Kendrick Lewis (undlsclosed), Sheldon Price (undisclosed), Sam Brown (undisclosed) and Tavon Young (hamstring).

Wagner, the starting right tackle, is the only new absence. It's possible that Harbaugh is giving Wagner a veteran's day off.

Wide receiver Michael Campanaro (River Hill), tight end Crockett Gillmore and outside linebacker Terrell Suggs are practicing for a second straight day after returning Monday.
