The Ravens signed quarterback David Fales to the practice squad and released tight end Austin Taylor, the team announced Saturday.
It is the third time the team has signed Fales in the last two-plus months. The Ravens most recently cut him Tuesday, the same day they originally signed Taylor to the practice squad.
The shuffling of the roster enabled the Ravens to have an extra body at tight end during practice this week, with Crockett Gillmore unavailable because of a thigh injury. The team likely won't have to make the same move next week, when tight end Nick Boyle is eligible to return from suspension.
Neither Fales nor Taylor have played in an NFL regular-season game.
