Ravens practice Saturday with full roster before final cuts

The Ravens took to the field Saturday morning with a full roster of 70 players, meaning any decisions on cutting their roster from 70 to 53 players by the 4 p.m. deadline Saturday will come after practice.

Though there's plenty of risk involved -- players who are sure to be cut could come down with an injury -- it appears that they're willing to take that chance and practice with players who won't be part of the organization in a few hours.

A few new absentees cropped up from Thursday's game in Atlanta, including guard John Urschel, defensive tackle Micajah Reynolds, and outside linebacker Zach Thompson, who is in the concussion protocol.

Also missing are the following long-term injury absentees: wide receiver Breshad Perriman (knee), running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (knee), cornerback Rashaan Melvin (soft tissue injury), defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (knee), defensive end DeAngelo Tyson (shoulder), and defensive end Brent Urban (biceps)
